CREATING A BRAND NEW NAME AND IDENTITY FOR ONE OF THE UK’S LEADING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES COMPANIES

Thomasons had been one of the UK’s engineering consultancies of choice for over 30 years. But recent changes to the organisation and strcuture of the business necessitated a review and a change of name. We were appointed after a competitive pitch process and immediately set to work to an extremely tight deadline.

With the help of the internal marketing team we recruited a brand stakeholder team and set-up a series of workshops to focus our thinking and drive the project forward. We quickly established a brand positioning and sharpened their values. We then moved onto creating a new brand name and identity, before implementing this across all communications platforms including website, collateral, presentation materials and social media.

All this activity was completed within five months from start to finish, and was launched to the internal team, and then two events to announce the changes to their clients. True to our collaborative ethos we worked hand-in-hand with the marketing team and shared the stage during the internal and client launches.
