KEY TEAM MEMBERS

ANDY FREEMAN
Creative Director

Andy has held senior positions at JWT and DDB. He has also worked for brand owner Arcadia. His career has covered many brands and market sectors. But most notably he worked on the re-launch of Burberry, has worked on Rimmel and more recently was part of the team that won TRESemmé globally.

He’s passionate about photography and film and has a flare for a good script. In his spare-time he’s usually found with a camera in his hands or bestowing the virtues of Welsh rugby.

PETE HAMMOND
Creative Director

Pete is a super-experienced and strategically savvy creative director. He has worked at large agencies such as RAPP and his credentials in Property and Business Services are probably second to none.

Pete is keen that our work generates response and doesn’t believe that strategic and tactical communication should be mutually exclusive. “If you can’t track it, don’t do it.”

In his spare time Pete is an extreme marathon runner and thinks nothing of running across the Sahara or over mountain ranges.

MANDY BLAKE
Project Director

Mandy has worked with Andy and Pete for more years than they care to mention. She has worked at Urbane since it started, which is a testament to her patience and perseverance. She brings many years of client and project management experience, and in the words of Andy and Pete, ‘there’s nobody who is more organised, with an extraordinary ability to get things done efficiently and within budget.’ At Urbane she brings the ‘yin’ to the creative ‘yang.’

Mandy has worked in many market sectors such as beauty, fashion, healthcare and property. Before that she lived and worked in Australia, where she was a Marketing Manager at VW.
