Senior talent who dont mind getting their hands dirty
It might sound obvious and expected. But from our experience, it rarely happens. Projects are won by senior agency gurus and quickly delegated to junior teams. We don’t do that. We’re a team of super experienced brand strategists and creatives who enjoy nothing more than helping clients to build brands and businesses. In the past, our team has worked for big London ad agencies and a few of us have been Marketing Directors for major brands. We like to be small, flexible and work collaboratively with our clients. Our main motivation is a love of what we do and we like to be judged by our clients’ growth and success.
It’s not at all about us, as we’re ego free and decent, what-you-see-is-what-you-get types. It’s all about our clients and connecting them to their customers, whatever it might take. We provide them with focus and clarity and after that we’re all in it together.
We believe that the best work comes from working together with our clients. An “us-and-them” relationship doesn’t work for us. We like to share our clients’ goals and play nicely.
Andy has held senior positions at JWT and DDB. He has also worked for brand owner Arcadia. His career has covered many brands and market sectors. But most notably he worked on the re-launch of Burberry, where he met Neal, has worked on Rimmel and more recently was part of the team that won TRESemmé globally.
He’s passionate about photography and film and has a flare for a good script. In his spare-time he’s usually found with a camera in his hands or bestowing the virtues of Welsh rugby.
Neal is our resident luxury expert having been a Marketing Director at both Burberry and DeBeers. Neal’s strategic insights have been invaluable to many of Urbane’s clients and he is the man that stays on top of everything at Urbane to ensure that the agency delivers work on time and within budget.
Neal is entrepreneurial and full of ideas. In his spare time he sits on a number of boards as a non-exec director, when he’s not supporting his beloved Arsenal.
Pete is a super experienced and strategically savvy creative director. He has worked at large agencies such as RAPP and his credentials in Travel, Property and Business Services are probably second to none.
Pete is keen that our work generates response and doesn’t believe that strategic and tactical communication should be mutually exclusive. “If you can’t track it, don’t do it.”
In his spare-time Pete is an extreme marathon runner and thinks nothing of running across the Sahara or over mountain ranges. When he’s not doing crazy things with his legs, he’s a very keen Manchester City fan.
