Menzies, a national accountancy practice first contacted us after they had conducted a strategic review of the business. They identified the need to focus on and promote their strategic consulting and advisory services in order to give them a platform for new growth and to offset threats from technology and competing online offerings. As part of the new strategic direction we helped them to create a new brand positioning that reflected and articulated their new strategic direction. We managed this as part of a highly collaborative approach which allowed us to engage the entire business and create a ground swell of momentum and support for the new position.
Once the positioning was agreed we created a new, fresh and dynamic identity that supported and enhanced the business and brand strategy. Again we worked closely with the Menzies team and used a consultative and collaborative approach using workshops and feedback sessions to develop an identity that was “owned” by the client long before it was officially launched.
In 2016 Menzies won the National Practice of the Year award at the British Accountancy Awards – with Menzies attributing the success being in no small way attributable to the new brand strategy and identity.

Nine months after the launch of the new brand positioning and identity Menzies announced that they had passed the £40m turnover target. Creating the momentum for organic growth was a key objective of the project and one of the main contributing factor for the increase in turnover. And two months later the icing on the cake was accolade of National Accounting Firm of the Year at the 2016 British Accountancy Awards.
